Do I need a tagging plan?

GDPR-compliant without consent?
Traffic is counted anonymously by default — first-party, with no cross-site identifiers — so most visits are lawful to measure without consent. You stay in control of what's collected.
Where is my data stored?

What counts as an event?
Any pageview or tracked interaction. Auto-detected events count the same as ones you define — there's no premium for the engine doing the work.
